OpenID authentication now available on koha-community.org

koha-community.org now accepts logins using OpenID. There’s one catch: if you have already created your account with us (fabulous, by the way ;)) you will need to associate your OpenID with your existing account before you can log in with your OpenID.

If you are signing in for the first time, go ahead and log in with your OpenID. Do be sure to add your e-mail address to your account once you are logged in. I cannot give you additional permissions without an email address. Remember: we won’t give your email address away to anyone, ever.

If you already have created an account, do not try to log in with your OpenID before doing the following steps.

  1. Log into the site with your existing account (the username and password you have already created for this site).
  2. Click Profile
  3. Click “Your OpenID’s”
  4. Enter your OpenID(s) and click “Add”

You should now be able to log into the site with your OpenID instead of your username and password.

If you  have any questions, comments, or problems, leave a comment here and we’ll get you straightened out.
