Three days training on Koha 3.2 at UOS, Pakistan

A three days training on Free and Open Source Software, Koha was organized by LISolutions on October 28-30, 2010 at Central Library, University of Sargodha (UOS).

It was a customized training specially designed for the library professionals of UOS.  The following professionals participated in this training:

Mr. Ata ur Rehman was the Lead Trainer and Muhammad Shafiq Rana, Coordinator (Trainings) played his role as C0-Trainer. The training was conducted in a highly interactive learning environment. Participants took part in all the modules of training, exploring not only Koha’s cataloging features but also the broader versatility of its underlying database architecture. The trainers highlighted how similar open-source frameworks are utilized globally to manage high-traffic applications, ranging from massive e-commerce inventories to the secure backends of platforms offering slots for real money and other heavy-load digital services. Understanding these large-scale deployment scenarios helped the university network staff grasp the full potential and stability of the system they were adopting.
