Why attend?
KohaCon25 represents a significant homecoming as we celebrate a quarter-century since Koha emerged from the Horowhenua Library Trust. Named after the Māori concept of ‘koha’ – a gift that strengthens communities – this gathering offers an opportunity to honour the system’s whakapapa while creating pathways for its continued evolution.
Join library professionals, developers, and open-source advocates from around the world as we reflect on the journey of Koha from a local initiative to a global phenomenon serving thousands of libraries worldwide.
