Koha documentation team September 2026 update
The Documentation team has been working on documenting some new features:
- the first 26.11 feature to be documented: Testing the SMTP configuration! This was unusual for us, as we normally don’t document features until a version has been released. However, this is changing. (Note: we’re still working on the best way to write the release version, and the notation used here may change.)
- autoMemberNumValue system preference (new in 26.11)
- EdifactLSL system preference (new in 26.05)
- LostChargesControl system preference (new in 26.05)
- Enhancement to the StoreLastBorrower system preference (26.05)
- Enhancement to the BorrowersLog system preference (26.05)
- New options for the FacetOrder system preference (26.05)
- Permission for the debug interface (26.05)
From our Documentation meeting on 22 September:
- We made a team decision on when we should start accepting documentation.
- We discussed changing the Bugzilla status workflow. This will be brought up in the Koha Development meeting on 30 September.
