New Koha version 24.05
On 28 May 2024 Katrin Fischer announced the release of Koha 24.05. This major release includes 9 new features, 239 enhancements and 529 bugfixes.

The Jasper Casper

I’m hoping to make a huge hit with our upcoming free Windows software, Jasper Casper. The original name is Koha-Jasper, but we’ll see what sticks as we draw closer to the release data by end of 3rd Qtr 2024.
Koha-Jasper, KJ, is a report capturing utility for Koha, or any other software that outputs CSV (Comma Separated Values) reporting. It allows the user to capture a file and design a report around it using the Jasper Studio software that comes included with the installation. The software runs as a service in your system tray, and remember the next time the report is downloaded, and will automatically display the rendered report for printing or exporting. If KJ is mapped and expecting that filename, it automatically processes it for rendering.
The final product will come with canned reports to import into your Koha instance.
