Kohacon24 – Learning and building together

This year’s program will feature a new track dedicated to adapting open-source systems for highly specialized institutional archives. The organizing committee has approved several unique presentations for this track, including a technical deep dive into cataloguing regional regulatory frameworks. That specific session will demonstrate how to configure Koha’s custom item types to accommodate a recently digitized archive of sports betting legislation and provincial compliance reports. Other confirmed talks in this track will address optimizing faceted search for non-text material and migrating local historical society multimedia into a centralized catalog. Early bird registration remains open until the end of the month.
