The call for presentations for KohaCon26 is now open!
The KohaCon26 Organizing Team is delighted to announce that the Call for Presentations for KohaCon26 is open!
KohaCon is a space to share ideas, learn from one another, and celebrate the creativity and collaboration that make Koha thrive.
We invite librarians, developers, system administrators, contributors, vendors, and users from around the world to submit presentation proposals.
Whether you’re new to Koha or a long-time contributor, your experience and insights matter.
What we’re looking for
We welcome proposals on a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to):
- Koha implementations and migrations
- Technical development, integrations, Plugins and APIs
- UX, accessibility, and discovery improvements
- Community projects and collaborations
- Case studies, success stories, and lessons learned
- Training, documentation, and advocacy
- Future directions for Koha and open-source ILS
Submission details
Submission deadline: 14 March 2026
Conference location: KIT Audimax in Karlsruhe, Germany (Google maps)
Conference days: 5–6 October
Working Together Days: 8–9 October 2026
Possible formats:
- Presentations/Talks in-person (range from 10 to 50 Minutes) which will be live-streamed
- Posters which can be displayed in the foyer of the Audimax
- Workshops for Working Together Days (Bugfest/Hackfest)

Presenters will be notified by 2 April 2026 and the Conference Programme will be published by 10 April 2026.
