Lista de comprobación de implementación¶
La siguiente guía le proporciona un recorrido por las áreas de Koha que necesita mirar para prepararse para empezar a utilizar el sistema.
Migración de datos¶
Antes de que pueda empezar a usar Koha tendrá que tener algunos datos. Esto se puede hacer introduciéndolos a mano, pero la mayoría de la gente ya tiene sus datos en formato electrónico de algún tipo y sólo tienen que reformatearlos un poco para importarlos a Koha.
- Create a list of libraries and enter their info and codes into Libraries

Configuración de administración¶
La mayoría de estas preferencias no necesitan ser cambiadas para usar su sistema Koha, pero hay algunas que es posiblemente desee personalizar.

- Decide if you’d like to share your library’s information with the Koha community by setting the Sharing system preferences.

Configuración de la catalogación¶

- Define any authorized values you might want to use in cataloging
- Set up custom classification sources (if you use something other than the defaults)
- Set up MARC matching rules for importing records from mrc files or Z39.50
- Set up Koha to Keyword mapping for deciding how to display marc fields to the screen (still in beta - only one field)
- Set up the Z39.50 targets you want to search for cataloging (and acquisitions)

Configuración de autoridades¶
Koha tiene la posibilidad de realizar un seguimiento de los registros de autoridad y su vinculación a los registros bibliográficos. Antes de utilizar las autoridades debe configurar varias preferencias.

Configuración de búsqueda¶
There are several system preferences related to searching, it is not always recommended to make too many changes to these preferences since they are set to get you the most relevant results. If you would like to change the default way that Koha handles searching, view the Searching system preferences tab.

Regiones editables en el OPAC¶

Configuración de contenido mejorado¶
Koha le permite elejir el contenido de fuentes externas para mejorar sus registros bibliográfico. Todo este contenido se puede activar y desactivar mediante las preferencias de contenido mejorado del sistema.
- FRBR/Editions
- Si quiere que el OPAC y/o la interfaz administrativa muestren una pestaña de “Editiones” en el registro bibliográfico, tendrá que habilitar una y otra de las preferencias FRBR y luego una o ambas de los servicios ISBN (XISBN y ThingISBN).
- Amazon : This service is free and just requires

- Al usar las preferencias de Amazon usted podrá elegir mostrar imágenes de cubierta de Amazon.
- Babelthèque
- Este es un servicio de pago. Contactar a Babelthèque para conocer cómo habilitar este contenido en el OPAC.
- Baker and Taylor
- This is a pay service from Baker & Taylor. Contact Baker & Taylor for the information to enter into these preferences.
- Soportes HTML5
- Esto permite a las bibliotecas para incrustar streaming de medios en sus catálogos
- Google
- Este servicio es gratis y no requiere registro, sólo tiene que activar GoogleJackets y ya está marchando
- I Deam Books
- Este es un servicio gratuito que recoge reseñas sobre los títulos más populares de muchas fuentes diferentes.
- LibraryThing
- Con la excepción de ThingISBN, tendrá que ponerse en contacto con LibraryThing para información de como introducie estas preferencias
- La habilitación ThingISBN ayudará a rellenar la pestaña de ediciones en la pantalla del registro bibliográfico si tiene habilitados FRBR.
- Novelist
- Este es un servicio de pago de Ebsco. Contactar con Ebsco para mayor información y entrar en estas preferencias
- OCLC
- XISBN se utiliza para rellenar la pestaña de ediciones en la pantalla de registro bibliográfico si ha habilitado FRBR. Este servicio es gratuito para un máximo de 999 consultas al día.
- Open Library
- Open Library project es un sistema abierto del que se pueden traer imágenes de cubierta (y en el futuro contenido adicional)
- Retraso
- Este es un servicio de pago en el que las bibliotecas pueden suscribirse para los contenidos de libros electrónicos. Si la biblioteca se suscribe a Overdrive ellos pueden integrar el contenido a Koha gratuitamente.
- Syndetics
- Este es un servicio de pago de Syndetics para añadir contenidos a su registro bibliográfico. Contactar a Syndetics para tener información para que pueda entrar en estas preferencias.
- Tagging
- Elija si desea o no permitir que los usuarios agregen etiquetas a los registros en Koha.
Configuración de adquisiciones¶
Cuando se utilizan las adquisiciones en Koha primero es necesario definir algunos valores por defecto.

Configuración de publicaciones periódicas¶
Cuando se utiliza las publicaciones periódicas hay algunas opciones que se pueden establecer de antemano.

Planificación para hacerse público¶
Una vez que tenga todos los ajustes listos, tiene que prepararse para hacer que su sistema pase a producción
