Koha 3.16.2 Released

The Koha community is pleased to announce the release of version 3.16.2 of the Koha library automation system.

Koha 3.16.2 is a bugfix release and can be downloaded from download.koha-community.org. Debian packages of Koha 3.16.2 will be available shortly.

Koha 3.14.9 Released

New Koha Libraries

Koha in Thailand!

In celebration of 80 years of Thammasat University on June 27, 2014, Thammasat University Libraries formally announce the switch of their ILS software from a proprietary system to the Koha open source library system. Thammasat University Libraries are one of the largest university libraries in Thailand, with 11 branches in 4 campuses, 420,000+ bib records, 1.2+ millions items, 42,000+ active patrons and 50,000+ items on loan. The successful migration to Koha is a collaboration between Thammasat University Libraries (self-preparation and self-training), Thammasat University’s Faculty of Engineering (hosting infrastructure), Punsarn Asia Co., Ltd. (setup and customization) and Wiserf Technologies Co., Ltd. (data migration).

Koha in China and Vietnam!

Community Gossip

Paul Landers of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Preston Smith Library, outlines their experiment with Electronic library cards in Koha.

Faculty of Library and Information Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities ( Vietnam ) is using Koha for their student training courses. Koha Vietnam provided implementation and training services to the faculty.

Koha Vietnam has contributed a Vietnamese translation for Koha 3.12.
