Is there a version of Koha that can be installed on a Windows machine and if so, where can I download it?

Mathieu,
As far as I know the version of 3.0.6 on their site (if you installed that, not harley) is the same version at download.koha-community.org, they have just made a local copy for whatever reason.

As to moving it up the rankings, theres a whole industry devoted to trying to figure out how to do that :) SEO is big money, but in our case I think the best way to do it is for people link and talk about the koha-community site whenever they have the opportunity.

Is there a way we can promote the koha-community.org site so that it appears first on a google search of koha? At the moment koha.org is the first two hits listed. In actual fact, I only just became aware of this schism when the Koha.org site listed news that PTFS acquired liblime. This led me down a path to search about the whole thing. I installed koha at our college from the sources hosted at Koha.org. Does this mean that source (the "community version" on their website) has diverged significantly from the official community source? If so, how can move my current 3.00.06 version to the official version?

Francisco: That depends on what you mean; server side really works much better on Linux than Windows. The staff interface and OPAC work well on any operating system that has a sufficiently modern web browser.

Leslie,

As a first step, try sending a description of your problem to the Koha mailing list. I don't see any message from you in the mailing list archives, but I may have missed it.

I have not been able to get the support help I need to address a fatal error message when I'm trying to enter a catalogue record -- my question just get sent into cyberspace never to be heard from again. What's a non-techie to do?
